This Love

I give this love away because it was not meant for me to keep. Yet, I have kept it locked away for fear that it would be abandoned, abused or worse yet, crushed. This heart, this love I cannot contain it, nor restrain it. The harder I try the more this love presses outwardly as if bursting at the seems. In my loneliness I cradle it like a baby. I protect it from the brutal and volatile elements of mankind for fear it would get lost or discarded like trash. Seemingly unimportant to some, unwanted and unnecessary to others I give this love away. And as God's word says it will not return void. Give love away today. Thank you for your time, James R.
